I’m a very fussy cook and although I have access to a huge variety of food stores, Battaglia’s is the one I use with confidence. The food quality is exceptional and the prices for the most part are very comparable and their specials are excellent. I will only buy my vegetable here. I find the staff helpful and accommodating and in the Spring, they have a lovely display of plants at reasonable prices. I have been using Battaglia’s since they opened and have never had any complaints with the food quality.

The grocery store is in a very convenient location in the neighbour hood, being a 5 minute walk from Lorne Park SS; making it a perfect place for students to purchase lunches or other edibles. They have friendly staff, a wide variety of goods, a in-store butcher and chefs that sell hot meals. Battaglia’s is a great store for both students and adults.

I live in Virginia and come to visit family several times a year. Visiting your store is always a delight. The store is clean, the produce is fresh, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the product mix is interesting. I have done a lot of work in the grocery trade during the past 40 years and have been on the board of one of the best food retailers in the US. Your store is an example of what we always strived for.
